Steve Wiebe Reclaims Donkey Kong Title
Steve Wiebe is back on top as the Donkey Kong World Record holder. Wiebe previously had the title in the spring of 2007 before plastic surgeon Billy Mitchell bumped him for the new world record with a score of 1,062,800. That score stood until Hank Chen of New York toppled Mitchell’s score in March 2010 but Wiebe is back on top after getting a score of 1,064,500.
Twin Galaxies is responsible for keeping score of video games and has announced the score on September 20, 2010 to verify Wiebe as the new world record holder for the top Donkey Kong score.
